Musical background of Dominique Citroen                                                                                   

dominique citroenDominique Citroen studied piano at the Conservatory of Geneva and later harpsichord at the Conservatory of Amsterdam with Anneke Uittenbosch and Ton Koopman, and attended master classes with Gustav Leonhardt. During her studies she already was a member of the Amsterdam Combattimento Consort led by  Jan Willem de Vriend. After graduating Dominique became a member of ‘The Amsterdam Bach soloist’, which frequently collaborated with Frans Brüggen, Ton Koopman, Jaap van Zweden. Phillip Herreweghe and Marc Minkovski.

Business background

Dominique Citroen started her business career in 1995 at the ‘Stichting PodiumKunstwerk’ (Foundation for the performing arts), reviewing producers- applications for subsidies and advising and guiding performing artists. In 2002 she started working for the ‘Van den Ende Foundation’, reviewing and coordinating applications and projects. Since 2010 she dedicates herself full time to her own company ‘Citroen Adviesbureau Podiumkunsten’ (Consultancy for the Performing Arts).
